Question: How do I get to the page that lets me see other people looking for roommates in residence? I have applied for a super single and I'm under the impression that if I get that then I will be living with one other person who also has their own room (Correct me if I'm wrong) and my previous roommate changed schools so I have to find a new person to live with. Thanks in advance :)

Answer: Thanks for the question! A super single in Loyola or Vanier is a double room for 1 person, however, it’s rare that a student is assigned to a super single in either of those buildings. A super single in Rice is a room to yourself in an apartment of 3 people total, but Rice is high in demand so again, it’s rare that first years get a single room in Rice. As for browsing roommates, when you’re in the Residence Portal, go to the Roommate Search Preferences tab and make sure to check off “Include me in the Roommate Search”. That’s on the same tab where you can make your screen name and profile. On the next tab (Roommate Requests), scroll down to “Browse Matching Roommates”, click, and you can browse away!
