Question: I am a future international student and i was wondering if i could pay my residence deposit by credit card instead of the bank wire transfer, I have filled up the "Credit Authorization Form" and have scanned and send it to them but i still haven't got any reply. How can should I proceed and pay through credit card?

Answer: Hey there ! Yes, you can pay your $500 residence deposit by credit card. To do so, you should fill the credit card authorization form that was sent with your residence agreement, putting $500 on your student account. When you send it back by email you should request that we reclassify it for your residence deposit. If you did all of these steps, you are good. You should check your student account on self-service banner to see if they have process your payment or not. You can also email them on residence.life@smu.ca in case your payment is taking too long to process. Good luck !
