Question: How many courses do I have to take a year?

Answered by: Sarah
Answer: Hi Randy. It depends, but on average, students complete 30 credit hours, that is, 10 courses per academic year (Usually, one course equals three credit hours). This way, you are likely to graduate in 4 years, as most programs require students to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours. Now, if you decide to take 10 courses per academic year, you could take 5 courses each during fall and winter semester, or you could also take some summer courses while somewhat reducing the coursework in fall and winter.
