Question: Should I live on campus or off campus to save money? Money is tight for me.

Answered by: Gaius
Answer: Honestly speaking, I would advise that living off campus allows a student to save more money than living on residence. The reason for my decision is that having a meal plan and living in either Loyola or Vanier tends to be cumulatively more expensive. On the other hand, if you are a new student it may be a bit difficult to find a suitable living environment off- campus and you would prefer living on campus. The more economical option is to live in Rice where students only pay for the residence and can choose whether or not to have a meal plan.
