Question: What happens if student loans didn't give me enough money for tuition? And is there any way I can get financial help from the school or anywhere else?

Answer: There are a few things you can do about your situation. First, visit our Financial Aid & Awards officers to discuss in detail the best options for you! They have walk-in hours listed at smu.ca/faa . Additionally, you can contact student loans about requesting increased funds and you can apply for the Financial Need Based Bursary when it comes out on January 16. The application is available here: http://www.smu.ca/academics/undergraduate-aid-and-awards.html#FNBB Make sure you contact the Service Centre too, so they know you are working on a solution. Best of luck!
