Question: I'm looking to go back to university after not being in post secondary for 7 years. I did almost a full year of university right out of high school and one year of Business Administration at NSCC. I need to go back to school, part time and online (I'm a manager for a telecommunications company and work 40+ hours per week). I cannot do in class courses. I'm trying to figure out if I can do my Business degree part time and online, and how to pay for it if I currently have student loans that I'm paying off from my previous failed attempts at a better education.

Answer: Hey! I think it would be most helpful to contact the Admissions Office at recruitment@smu.ca and/or the BComm Advising Centre (sobey.bcomm@smu.ca). They both would be able to suggest the best course of action for your degree. As far as your student loan goes you will need to talk to your provincial office about what steps you need to take to continue your education. You could also contact finanical.aid@smu.ca if you can't reach the student assistance office. Good luck!
