Question: if you fail an elective does it take longer to finish your degree?

Answered by: Drucilla
Answer: If you fail the elective and you needed it to meet the minimum amount of electives for your degree then yes, you will need to take another elective to fill that space that your failed elective didn't fill. You must have your minimum amount of required electives to qualify for your degree. If you have time in your next semester or in the summer for one extra elective to make up for the elective that you missed then your degree might not take extra time to complete.
