Question: I am part way through taking a commerce degree however I want to take a few years off to pursue other things. Is there an expiration date for courses already taken

Answer: Hey! Most, if not all of your credits will still count towards your degree. The only time they wouldn't is if the major requirements change in the time you are away or if the topics in a required course change dramatically, in which case you may have to take that course again (this is rare in short time spans but possible). You should also be aware that when students do not take courses for more than one full year their banner account will become inactive and you will need to reapply to the university in order to register and continue your studies.
