Question: What subjects are thought in bachelor of arts and bachelor of environmental studies?

Answered by: Michaela
Answer: Hey! A Bachelor of Arts covers many humanities and social science programs including Sociology, Criminology, Classics, and Economics just to name a few, as well as many interdisciplinary fields such as International Development Studies. Page 45 of the Academic Calendar (SMU.ca/calendar) has a full list of Arts programs. You can choose to major and/minor in any program offered. > A Bachelor of Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary degree combining Geography, Sociology, Political Science, Economics and many others to give students an expansive understanding of many environmental issues and how to deal with them. Check out page 165 of the Calendar for descriptions and a list of courses! Please note this is a different program than Environmental sciences which is a science based program instead of Arts. I hope this helped!
