Question: i got the offer letter from SMU but it is mentioned only "bachelors of science" while i have opted for "bachelors of computing science". what about this ambiguity? is it solved in the degree? do we get degree of "bachelors of computing science" or "bachelors of science"?

Answer: Computer Science falls in the Mathematics and Computer science department of SMU. This is a part of Faculty of Science. For some apparent reason, Math is also an art, so you can get an arts degree from math. Coming back to your point, In my opinion, you will get a degree of B. Science in Computer science, its as good as B. Compute Science, which a very few schools (still) have them. You don't need to worry much about it. Also, you should consider contacting Academic advisors for the same and course selection, you can also contact registrar's office for more details about the degree, they will be able to help you more about this than me(if you are still not sure how it is). Hope this helps.
