Question: I am interested in taking astronomy as one of my electives. It says in the academic calendar that the class is 3hrs. Is this 2 1.5hr classes a week or 2 3hr classes a week? Thanks.

Answer: Hi there, the academic calendar does not provide details on class times or scheduling, so the three credit hours stands for 3 hours over the course of 1 week. It may be divided as 1.5 hours on two days of the week, or 3 hours on one day. You can see the actual class timing/scheduling on Self Service Banner under the term for which you're looking to register!
