Question: I was thinking about going to smu when I graduate but I'm not sure I would like the business program. I did go to an open house but I still feel like I don't have a clear idea on what actual things you do while studying business. Sorry for the unspecific question also

Answer: Hi Joey, no worries, this is an important thing to understand before choosing a school. Your first two years as a business student, you are required to take a variety of courses that cover the basis of each faculty. You are also required to take some electives at this time, you can explore further into business, or look at science or arts courses. I chose to take a French course in my first semester, and some second year courses this year. All the information about courses can be found here, http://www.smu.ca/academics/sobey/bcomm-program-structure.html. If you wanted to learn more about the campus, or possibly have the chance to speak with current students, we have campus tours available daily, Monday-Friday. http://www.smu.ca/future-students/visit-our-campus.html.
