Question: I wanted to pursue b tech in computer science, but in the offer letter the course name is"Bachelors of Science". this is not what i wanted. what shall i do now?

Answer: Hi, SMU doesn't offer B. Tech (from what I know). You should have checked in before hand. But, B. Tech is a sub-branch of B. Science. You can still take the same courses as you were planning to take for B. Tech( im assuming Computer science courses). Your degree will be B. Science but with courses in B. Tech, in my opinion, B. Science degree >>B. Tech degree(in terms of value). Other than this, you should definitely contact academic advisors, as they will guide you in the right direction better than me, as for registration, contact registrars office. After all, University office services are for us :). Wish you luck.
