Question: Hi there , I'm Zulkarnine , I am a bit confused about what are the requirements for the presidency , santa Maria scholarships , ...what does admission average and IB means , .....I want to study in bachelor of science , and I'm an international student , and are the budget shown in Canadian dollar ? .....

Answer: Hi Zulkarnine! There were a couple of questions within that paragraph so I will do my best to get to each one! For the Presidential/Santamarian scholarships, students must have a grade average of 95%. If the student is in an IB program, they need a result of +36. There is an application form that needs to be filled out for this award, a 750 word essay, a resume, and a letter recommendation. I have attached a link to the application: http://www.smu.ca/academics/scholarships/scholarships-entrance-awards.html#PIBS On the budget calculator, there is an option to choose whether you are a Nova Scotian resident, Canadian, or International student which influences the cost of your studies. The total amount will always be shown in Canadian dollars, it is up to the student to exchange the currency.
