Question: Which is the best residence building to live in?

Answered by: Alyssa
Answer: The "best" residence building to live in will vary depending on who you talk to. Each building has unique characteristics that tend to appeal to different people. Loyola is a 22 story dormitory-style residence building that tends to house first year students. Beautiful views of Halifax can be seen from the upper floors, which is a huge selling point for many people! Vanier also tends to house first year residents, however the building is organized very differently. There are four houses, each containing 3 floors of residents. For people (like myself) who don¹t appreciate waiting for elevators, Vanier is the place to be! Rice is an apartment-style residence. Upper year students, and those wishing to cook their own food tend to live here. I am currently living in Vanier for my fourth year in a row, and I wouldn't be here if I didn't love it! However, residents of Loyola and Rice also have great things to say, you just have to select which residence building seems right for you!
