Question: I'm 50 and high school was a long time ago. Can I apply for an under graduate degree program at SMU without using previous transcripts?

Answered by: Kirsten
Answer: Based on the application form here: http://www.smu.ca/webfiles/UndergradApplication.pdf it appears that all you need is your high school certificate or equivalent and "a letter of intent which states personal and career goals, reasons for applying, and preparations for academic study as well as a résumé" along with the regular application as a mature student. More info and contact information for the Admissions Office can be found here: http://www.smu.ca/future-students/nova-scotia.html. Good luck!
