Question: Hi there, So, I didn't do so well second semester and I am almost certain that I will be put on academic probation as this will significantly lower my GPA. I'm currently in the BComm program. I'm wondering if you can tell me a bit more about it and what typically happens from here (the academic calendar description didn't make sense to me)?

Answer: On Academic Probation you will meet with advisors to set the best plan for improving your grades. You will not have any registration restrictions, but your grades will be monitored (staying above 1.70). Your grades will then be assessed again at the end of the year, where there will assess if your grades are high enough to stay at Saint Mary's. Good luck getting back on track!
