Question: Hi, I'm curious what happens if you are on academic probation and don't do very well on your first semester of probation? Will I be asked to leave St Mary's or will I have the chance to do better next semester? Thanks

Answer: Hey, thank you for such a great question! No, you will not be asked to leave St. Mary's University because academic probation is based on your performance that is your final grades for the entire academic year. Although, you may not do your best in the first semester you will have the chance to improve your grades and the student advisor will inform you of your academic standing. I hope this helps and all the best with your studies!
