The Alumni Volunteer of Year Award is presented, when merited, to an individual or individuals who have provided outstanding service to the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association on a voluntary basis.

A maximum of two candidates per year will be granted the Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award.

All members of the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association and employees of the University may submit a letter of recommendation (one page maximum) for a candidate or candidates, illustrating their suitability for this Award.

A completed nomination form must be submitted alongside the letter.

The annual deadline for submission will be Friday, August 10th, 2012.

Candidates are considered annually by the Saint Mary's University Alumni Association's Awards & Nomination Committee, whose decision must be ratified by the Alumni Office

Under special circumstances, previous recipients of this Award may be considered for re-nomination.

Consideration will take place following Spring Convocation, and this Award will be presented during an annual event to celebrate the recipients.
