All Summer Residence accommodations include:

  • Incredibly low monthly rates
  • Available May 1, 2010 to August 21, 2010
  • Heat, electricity, and hot water
  • Telephone set (local phone and voice mail services are included)
  • Cable TV service (TV and cable cord not included)
  • Short term leases available (monthly)
  • Internet service (Ethernet cord not included)
  • No damage deposit required.

  • Laundry facilities located in the Loyola and Rice Residences (card-operated)

1. One to four students, each jointly and severally responsible for 100% of rent.

2. Student shares bedroom with another student. Up to four students per apartment. Students are not obliged to pay more if apartment and/or roommates move out. Residence Office will do room placements. Roommate preferences will be considered.

3. Student does not share the bedroom. Students are not obliged to pay more if apartment mates move out. Residence Office will do room placements. Roommate preferences will be considered. Limited number available.

 

Our Residence Room Descriptions

Single and Double Room
These dormitory style residence floors are available to single students. Each floor is comprised of single and double rooms arranged in 4 suites, attached to the floor's central hallway. Each suite has it's own shared, but private washroom facilities consisting of one room containing a toilet and sink and a second room consisting of a tub, shower and sink. Six to eight people live in each suite, and twenty-three students live on each floor.

Super Single Room

These dormitory style rooms are the same as the single and double rooms but you will have a double room to yourself.

Senior Suite
Conveniently located in the Loyola Residence, the suites feature private, lockable bedrooms in an apartment like unit with self-contained bathroom and kitchen. Each suite had a lockable front door and is for the private use of the students sharing the suite.

Senior Suites vary in size. Some are designed to house two students, while others have three and four students sharing a suite. The four-student suites feature two bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with a shower unit.

All the comfort and convenience of an apartment with a private bedroom.

Apartment - Bedspace

The convenience of the apartment setting where you will share the bedroom. You can choose your roommate or we can assign one to you.

All residence apartments, senior suites and floors are co-ed, but the rooms are same sex only. Each room/apartment is equipped with the latest upgrades in technology. Occupants must provide their own dishes, pots & pans, cutlery, cleaning supplies, small appliances, as well as personal items such as towels, hair dryers, etc.

 

THE SAINT MARY’S UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ARE NONSMOKING.

SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN THE RESIDENCES INCLUDING THE COMMON AREAS AND PRIVATE ROOMS.
