Types of Family & Graduate Housing

Saint Mary's University offers one and two bedroom apartments for lease by student families and graduate students attending the University. The apartments are in the Loyola Building conveniently located on campus in the city's south end. A twelve (12) month lease is required.

These apartments were newly renovated in 2000/01 including new exterior windows and siding, new kitchens, upgraded fire safety systems and the introduction of voice, data, and cable technology in each unit. The apartments come unfurnished with refrigerator and stove. See window sizes below as drapes are not supplied. Meal plans are optional.

An application fee of $25 CDN (non-refundable) must accompany the application. Applications are available from the Family & Graduate Housing Office at 902.420.5589 or on-line.

One Bedroom

Consists of one bedroom, kitchen, living-dining room, bath, hall, storage area and closets. Most one bedrooms face west, overlooking Halifax's North West Arm of the harbour. A few face east overlooking Husky Stadium and Halifax Harbour.

Consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, living-dining room, bath, hall, storage area and closets. The two bedroom apartments face east and overlook the Husky Stadium and the Halifax Harbour (Type C).
