Per Diem Rates For University - Funded Travel in Canada and United States

Meal Per Diems

  • Breakfast - $8.00
  • Lunch - $12.00
  • Dinner - $20.00
  • Overnight Incidentals - $7.00
  • Daily Total - $47.00 (US $ if travel in USA

Alternate Accommodation Per Diem

  • Where an employee arranges alternate accommodation with relatives or friends, a $25.00 per night allowance may be claimed.
