Services for New Faculty

Each year, before the start of the new academic year, the Centre for Academic and Instructional Development and the Quality of Teaching Committee welcomes new faculty to campus for New Faculty Orientation, consisting of a series of presentations, discussions and workshops, a campus tour, and lunch with invited guests from across campus.

New Faculty Network is a follow-up to the orientation, and continues with monthly luncheon meetings. These sessions offer an opportunity for new faculty to exchange experiences and strategies and to meet with other on-campus support personnel who can assist them through their first year teaching at Saint Mary’s.
