The centre provides free, academic support for students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

We offer in-person, one-on-one tutoring, as well as workshops, in-class presentations, and online support.

Centre Hours:

  • The centre will be closed to tutoring until May 5th.
  • May hours - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm


2014 Saint Mary's Undergraduate Writing Awards

Enter papers from the Humanities, Social Science, Science, and Business in two levels—lower (students with 60 or less total credit hours from any institution) and upper (students with more than 60 total credit hours from any institution). You may enter one paper from Fall 2013 and one from Winter 2014.

All papers must be submitted by Friday, May 2, 2014 at 4:00 pm.

Geography APA Style Guide now available

This new guide will help in preparing assignments in Geogrpahy, including help with plagiarism avoidance, citation, and formatting, as well as providing submission guidelines. Also included is a sample paper.

It is available online, and paper copies may be picked up in the writing centre.
