Writing Centre


The centre provides free, academic support for students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

We offer in-person, one-on-one tutoring, as well as workshops, in-class presentations, and online support.

Fall Hours:

  • Monday-Friday,
 Room 115, Burke Building
  • Monday-Thursday, 
  • Saturday, 12:00pm-3:00pm, Room 115, Burke Building
  • Sunday, 11:00pm-3:00pm, Room 115, Burke Building

Please note:  ESL Drop-In service is temporarily unavailable - check back next week for an update.

November 6th - 7th | 10 pm - 8 am | Atrium

We'll be up all night to help you get your work done.

Come to the writing centre's drop-in area in the Atrium outside the Library beginning at 8 pm November 6th to 8 am November 7th for extended writing tutoring!

This program is part of a Canadian Writing Centres Association cross-Canada initiative that includes 18 universities from Nova Scotia to British Columbia, organized by the Saint Mary's Writing Centre and the writing centres from Laurier University and University of Saskatchewan.
