Writing Centre


The centre provides free, academic support for students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

We offer in-person, one-on-one tutoring, as well as workshops, in-class presentations, and online support.

What does the writing centre do?

Fall hours

Booked appointment hours, Room 115, Burke Building

    •    Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
    •    Saturday, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
    •    Sunday, 11:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Drop-in hours
    •    Monday - Thursday, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Room 115, Burke Building

    •    Monday - Thursday, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Atrium 107

Writing centre now part of the Studio!

The writing centre, as an academic service, is now part of the Studio for Teaching and Learning, joining the CAT, ESL Support, and LEAP program under the direction of Brian Hotson, Director, Student Academic Learning Services.
