Professional Editing Services

Professional publishing and editing services

Saint Mary’s University’s Writing Centre offers professional editing, copyediting, indexing, and layout services for all written materials. Professional editors and copy editors are available to work with faculty, individuals, publishers, and journals to provide clean, clear prose, as well as cogent content.

The centre can also manage self-publication, including editing, layout, indexing, and printing.

The centre has assisted in the publication of book manuscripts, journal articles, manuals, as well as many other types of writing. Editors have many years experience in various fields, including business, science, arts, and professional writing and publishing.

This service is open to Saint Mary's University faculty and staff, as well as the public.

Fees
Short manuscripts are $10 per double-spaced, one-inch margin pages in 12-pt font.
For manuscripts longer than 100 pages, fees are negotiated.
For indexing, layout, or other publishing service rates, please contact brian.hotson@smu.ca.

Graduate students

Services are not provided to undergraduate students from any institution.

Fees
