How can I contact you?

The Print Centre is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.  You can contact us during these hours by calling 902.420.5579, by emailing print.centre@smu.ca, or by stopping by in person to MM014.

How long will it take to complete my order?

Basic orders are usually completed in 24 to 48 hours, and we can often accommodate orders in the same day depending on our workload.  For large quantities or custom orders, please contact us for an estimated turnaround time.  All photocopying/printing is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Orders can be picked up at the Print Centre during regular business hours.  Larger orders requiring delivery will be picked up daily by SMU's Inventory & Distribution department.  

May I supply my own paper for printing an order?

We accept most papers but there are some papers that will not run through our printers (inkjet, metallic, etc).  To ensure that the paper you will run through our machines, please bring down a sample with the original packaging wherever possible and we can test it out. 

Can I order business cards, letterhead and envelopes through the Print Centre?

Official SMU Faculty/Staff business cards and departmental letterhead are ordered through the Print Centre.  Envelope orders are placed through Procurement.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Interac for counter sales.  Authorized faculty/staff may use their departmental budget codes.

Is the Print Centre open to the general public?

Yes, we are a full service print shop that serves the university community and the public.

 

 FAQ's for common copier problems and solutions.

For departmental copier malfunctions, please call the service number located on the front of the machine directly.  You will need to give them the model number and serial number of the machine, and explain the problem.  A service technician will then be dispatched to your site.
