Outreach and community engagement – Saint Mary’s University at the Halifax Central Library

For over forty years, Saint Mary’s University and the Halifax Public Libraries have worked together to offer credit courses at libraries across HRM. Presently, courses are offered twice a week at the Halifax Central Library.  Classes start at 1:00 pm and run until 2:45 pm.  The first half of the class is open to both SMU students and patrons of the library; the second half is restricted to SMU students.

We invite students, and the community to learn and engage in a dynamic university environment.
