ESRI Canada GIS Scholarship 2017
Deadline to apply: March 30

ESRI Canada is providing one scholarship to a Saint Mary’s University student who is currently using ArcGIS software to conduct research, coursework and who aspires to further their training in GIS and/or is considering applying geomatics in their career.  Previous award holders are in-eligible.  Details on the program are available at

Please refer to this document: ESRI Scholarship procedures 2017  for the SMU application process and selection criteria as well as the bulleted information below.  DEADLINE 5 pm March 30, 2017.  The committee will be meeting on March 31st to recommend a winner for ESRI’s April 1st deadline.  Students currently enrolled in GEOG 2386 and  3386 are eligible and interim grades will be used.

Environmental Studies Prize 2017

If you are in your final year of the Environmental Science (major or honours) or Bachelor of Environmental Studies at SMU, or if you have graduated in the recent October 2016 convocation, you are eligible for one of the $250 Environment Prizes to be awarded in the Spring.
