September
4 (Monday)            Administrative Offices closed – Labour Day
5 (Tuesday)           Academic year begins.
6 (Wednesday)      CLASSES BEGIN.
15 (Friday)             (a) Last day for registering and changing in the fall term (September – December)
                             (b) Last day for final payment of fall term tuition fees.
29-30 (Friday- -      Fall Convocation 2017
         Saturday)


October
2 (Monday)            Last day for filing Applications for Graduation for degrees, diplomas and certificates to be awarded in May 2018
9 (Monday)            Administrative Offices closed and no classes - Thanksgiving Day.

November
7 (Tuesday)            Last day for withdrawing, without academic penalty, from three (3) credit hour or six (6) credit hour courses taught only in the fall term  (Reference: Academic Regulation 16).
10-14 (Friday -       Fall Break. No classes
        Tuesday)
11 (Saturday)         Remembrance Day.
29 (Wednesday)     Last day of classes in fall term.
Nov 30-Dec 1         Study Days. No classes.
(Thursday - Friday)       

December
2 (Saturday)           Start of formal final examinations in three (3) credit hour courses and formal mid-year examinations in six (6) credit hour courses.
8 (Friday)               Patronal Feast of the University.  Normally no examinations are scheduled on this day.
16 (Saturday)         End of final exams and end of the fall term. Note: Subject to change should it not be possible to schedule all formal examinations in the designated timeframe.

2018

January
3 (Wednesday)       CLASSES RESUME.
12 (Friday)             (a) Last day for registering in the winter term (January – April)
                              (b) Last day for final payment of winter term tuition fees.
19 (Friday)             January Convocation (tentative).


February
12 (Monday)          Last day for withdrawing, without academic penalty, from six (6) credit hour courses taught from September to April Reference: Academic Regulation 16).
19 (Monday)          Administrative Offices closed and no classes - Heritage Day.
20-24 (Tuesday -   Winter Break.  No classes.
        Saturday)


March
12 (Monday)          Last day for withdrawing, without academic penalty, from three (3) credit hour courses or six (6) credit hour courses taught only in the Winter term (Reference: Academic Regulation 16).
30 (Friday)             Administrative Offices closed – Good Friday.

 

April
2 (Monday)             Administrative Offices closed – Easter Monday
4 (Wednesday)       Last day of classes in winter term.
5-6 (Thursday –     Study Days. No classes.
       Friday)
7 (Saturday)           Start of formal final examinations.
