Winter 2012 Workshops
Writing in the Sciences with geneticist Dr. Lindsey Carmichael
Friday, January 27 – 11:00 – 12:30
In this workshop, we will write a lab report using appropriate form, style, and tone, including charts, graphs, figures. Free resources and handouts will be available for you to take away.
Writing literature reviews
Friday, February 10th, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Learn how to create an effective lit review, both in stlye and form. Bring your outline for your literature review to work on together. Free resources and handouts will be available for you to take away
Exam writing
Friday, March 23nd and March 30th, 11:00 - 12:30pm
Learn strategies on writing exam essays and multiple choice based exams, in a take home or in class format. Free resources and handouts will be available for you to take away.
