What's the Big Idea? Pitch Competition Results

On October 20th the six finalists of the What’s the Big Idea Competition, gathered to give their final pitches. The six finalists consisted of four students from Saint Mary’s University, one Dalhousie University, and one from Mount Saint Vincent University.

 In the end, Saint Mary’s University grabbed the top two spots. JP Leroux, a third year Finance and Entrepreneurship student, won first place and $3000 for his big idea Perfect Finish Auto Detailing.  Second place went to Louis Westergard for his idea Odour Out.  Louis is a fourth year Accounting and Entrepreneurship student. Both JP and Louis are in the Saint Mary’s University Cooperative Education program.  Third place went to Evan Price from Dalhousie University.  

The Sobey School of Business would like to congratulate all 6 finalists and wish them much success with their big ideas.
