We don't believe that a leader is simply the person at the top, the person with followers. We believe a leader is someone who acts like a leader: a person who grabs the reins, takes control, and makes a difference in his or her field. It's a broader definition of "leader". It's a more accurate definition, too, and one that impacts the structure of our program in every way.
Potential students, in order to be considered for admission into the Sobey MBA program, must meet a number of requirements and complete a rigorous application process. Successful candidates are those who demonstrate our definition of leadership, and those who can provide a unique contribution to the classroom environment, in particular with diverse educational, cultural or professional backgrounds and experiences.
An Admissions Committee consists of the Associate Dean, Managing Director and faculty. Since admission to the Sobey MBA Program is highly competitive, meeting minimum criteria does not guarantee admission to the program.
