In 1992, Saint Mary’s University Sobey School of Business pioneered the Executive MBA for Atlantic Canadian working professionals.  Since then, hundreds of Sobey EMBA graduates have risen to leadership positions across a range of sectors, succeeding in organizations on the local, national and international level.

Our program offers nationally and internationally recognized faculty who combine exceptional academic credentials with real-world business experience. It also includes an international study trip lasting 10 - 12 days as a capstone pedagogical experience. The most recent study trip was to Guangzhou and Hong Kong, but other potential destinations can include South America, India, and Central Europe.

Commencing in August each year, the Sobey Executive MBA is a specially designed 18 month program for the seasoned business professional who is prepared for the challenge of maintaining a full-time position while attending classes every two weeks.  The program's hands-on approach helps to build on your personal strengths, offers you networking opportunities, and allows you to focus on becoming an exceptional leader and valuable team member.
