Dr. Ashraf Al Zaman at Sobey School of Business received his Ph.D. from Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University, IN, USA.

Currently he is an associate professor of finance in the Department of Finance, Information Systems, and Management Science. His current research interests include tax-aware investing, portfolio optimization, real estate, and the impact of political activities on financial markets. His achievements in teaching and other scholarly activities have been recognized on numerous occasions. He also actively contributes to the business community and the greater community through conference and media presentations.
