Dr. Mei-Ling Wei is an assistant professor at the Sobey School of Business where she teaches Marketing Policy and Marketing Communications. She received her PhD from the Schulich School of Business at York University where she began her research on how consumers develop knowledge about the marketplace, in particular how they cope with new media marketing. Dr. Wei also has a passion for community-minded, green enterprises and is working closely with local businesses in Halifax. Her research has been supported by provincial programs as well as by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
