Dr. Jing Wang is an assistant professor at the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University where she teaches Compensation and Human Resource Management. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in Canada, her Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Cornell University in the U.S, and her Bachelors degree in Literature and Law from Peking University in China. Dr. Wang has also worked for seven years as a human resources professional in multinational companies in China.

Dr. Wang's research focuses on work-life balance and strategic human resources management. She is especially interested in how work-life balance programs can benefit corporations and their employees. She has also written about labour issues such as minimum wage and labour arbitration in China.
