Najma Sharif joined the Department of Economics as Assistant Professor in 1997. She has been active in international and national conferences in the development field, in international activities relating to research and teaching in Cambodia, Nepal and Vietnam. Her research is published in book chapters and in journals like the Journal of Development Studies, Canadian Journal of Economics and Bangladesh Development Studies.
