Dr. Daphne Rixon is Assistant Professor of Accounting. She has a PhD in accounting from Warwick University , United Kingdom and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). She has over 20 years experience in the private and public sectors as Controller and Director of Finance. Dr. Rixon also has taught in the CMA Strategic Leadership Program for six years. She has served on a wide variety of boards including the National Certification Board for CMA Canada and the national board of directors for the Treasury Management Association of Canada. Dr. Rixon has presented papers at conferences in Canada , United States and Europe.
