Scott MacMillan is a part-time lecturer in the Department of Management at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and pursuing his Ph.D. in Management. His education includes a Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Physical Education degree, and a Certificate in Adult Education. He has twenty years of work experience with the YMCA throughout Canada and the Middle East, in management, research and consulting positions. He has been a competitive athlete in a variety of sports for thirty years, and has taken part in over a hundred running races and triathlons. He is a Martial Arts instructor and holds Black Belts in Judo and Karate. In 2002-2003 he was voted Part-time Commerce Professor of the Year at Saint Mary's University. He is the author of The Big Game: Ten Strategies for Winning at Life (June 2003) which has been released in English and Spanish.
