Bloomberg has invited us to participate in a free pilot program involving the Bloomberg Assessment Test (BAT); the BAT is designed to connect financial firms with students looking for careers in finance or related areas. Bloomberg has recently introduced the BAT, an innovative assessment test; it measures a student's strengths and weaknesses across 12 dimensions (both financial and non-financial), and requires no specific preparation or finance background. Please note that since all data is anonymous, it does not matter how well or how poorly you do in the field test since your data will not be disclosed to anyone without your permission. However, if you wish to release your scores, they will be available to 20,000 financial employers on an anonymous basis. By participating in the free pilot program and taking the BAT, you get specific benefits including: (1) insightful feedback about your strengths and weaknesses relative to peers in the U.S. and around the world, and (2) you demonstrate to the financial community your skills and your interest in the field of finance, and (3) should you perform well Bloomberg LP may be in touch as they have committed to reach out to the top 15% global test takers regarding internships and full-time employment opportunities.
Please see flyer for additional information.
On Saturday, March 5 and Satrurday, March 12 at 12:00 pm the free pilot BAT exam will be given at the Sobey School. The exam is free and takes three hours to complete. However, seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are interested in taking this exam, please go to bloomberginstitute.com (where you can find our sessions after signing up) to claim your spot. This is an outstanding opportunity if you are interested in a career in Wall Street, finance, and related fields. A confirmation email will be sent (with exam details) to those who secure slots.
