Undergraduate Program

 

The psychology undergraduate curriculum consists mainly of semester courses worth three (3) credit hours which are grouped into three broad categories--Group A, Group B, and Group C.

Courses in Group A are representative of psychology as a natural science and offer instruction in the areas of

  • Brain and behavior

  • Biology, evolution, and behavior

  • Cognition

Courses in Group B are representative of psychology as a social science and provide instruction in the areas of

  • Development

  • Social behavior

  • Personality and psychopathology

Courses in Group C are representative of psychology in general and include Psy 1200.1(.2), and statistics and research methods courses, among others.
