General Information
The Program offers a concentration, major, honours and minor in Environmental Studies. The Program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and is a rigorous interdisciplinary program combining core sciences with management, social sciences and humanities. Students majoring in a Bachelor of Arts or Commerce may also combine a minor in Environmental Studies.
A major or minor in Environmental Studies will provide students with the necessary academic preparation to understand environmental and resource-oriented issues and to prepare them to contribute to an environmentally sound future. Students have the option to declare a major, double major, dual degree, honours, double honours, minor and/or co-op. Graduates of the honours program may be qualified for admission to graduate programs in Environmental Studies or related subjects, see the Graduate Academic Calendar for details.

Those seeking to earn a B.Sc. in Environmental Studies should meet with the Science Undergraduate Programs Officer to discuss program and degree requirements. Those seeking to achieve a B.A. or B.Comm with a minor in Environmental Studies should meet with their respective Undergraduate Programs Officer to discuss their relevant degree and program requirements.
