Science Advising
The Faculty of Science has a variety of academic advisors that can answer questions about courses, research interests, or other aspects of your degree. We have advisors for each department, for engineering, for graduate students, and for the undergraduate science program in general.
- Undergraduate Science Advisors: Can answer questions about all undergraduate science degree programs or Departments (except Engineering, see Engineering Advisor below). - Engineering Diploma Advisor: This advisor is specifically designated for engineering students, and can help answer questions about courses, requirements, transfering into the 3rd/4th year program, and the diploma program in general. View Contact Information & Hours

- Science Department Advisors: A faculty member from each science department is available to discuss specifics about courses, requirements, etc. for their particular department. Once students have declared their major he or she should meeting with the department advisor for any advising inquiries. View Contact Information & Hours

- M.Sc. Applied Science Advisor: An advisor specifically designated for prospective and current science graduate students.

Student Forms

Many student forms and applications need approval through the Dean of Science office. Please see below for a list of forms available as well as what you need to include when submitting. Completed forms can be dropped off at the Dean of Science office (S221). You will be contacted by the Dean of Science secretary when your form has been processed and ready for pick up. Typically, forms signed by the Dean of Science office then need to go to the Service Centre (McNally Main) for final processing.
