Spring 2010 Student Happenings:

  • Congratulations to Amanda Nelund, as second year student in our MA in Criminology Program. Not only has Amanda been admitted to do a PhD at the University of Manitoba, she has just been award a Doctoral Fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. Her research investigates the use of restorative justice in cases of domestic violence and the politics of feminist groups' engagement with the state on this issue.
  • Another of our graduate students, Marley Levins, has received a SSHRC fellowship for her MA studies here at Saint Mary's.
