Sociology and Criminology

Welcome to the Department of Sociology and Criminology

The Department of Sociology and Criminology offers programs of study that are designed to provide students with a strong Undergraduate experience in both Sociology and Criminology. Majors and Honours programs are offered in each field. Students are particularly encouraged to complete a double major program in Sociology and Criminology. The Department also offers a Master's degree in Criminology. The courses provided support programs in such subject areas as: Asian Studies, Atlantic Canada Studies, International Development Studies, Linguistics, and Women's Studies.
