International Development Studies

Faculty

The IDS Program Committee is responsible for the management of the program. Chaired by the Coordinator, the Executive Committee is responsible for long-term planning and development, scholarship allocation, curriculum, timetable, publications, graduate admissions and resource development. (Committee Members listed below).

The Coordinator represents International Development Studies to the Arts Council and other faculties at Saint Mary's University. The Coordinator is responsible for faculty and adjunct faculty allocation, budget, and representing the program to outside agencies such as CIDA, IDRC, NGO's and other educational institutions. The Coordinator is also the Graduate student advisor.

Graduate students requiring academic advice should consult with Dr. Anthony O'Malley.


Graduate students who have selected a thesis supervisor should consult with the supervisor for all academic matters relating to their thesis.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT ADVISING:

The Undergraduate Student Advisor is responsible for undergraduate student inquiries concering the programme.
