Location:
Saint Mary's will host the 2017 Social Studies Teachers Association conference on October 27.
Eleven professor from Saint Mary's Faculty of Arts, along with educators from schools and museums across the province, will lead workshops demonstrating a breadth of curriculum-based and other professional development opportunities for Nova Scotia teachers.
The event will include a keynote address by The Honourable Jean Augustine, the first Black woman elected to Parliament and a recipient of the Order of Canada.
