About Saint Mary's
A tobacco-free campus
We are proud to announce that on September 1, 2013, Saint Mary’s went entirely tobacco-free.
Trashformers: Cleaning our neighbourhood one street at a time
In the Fall, residence students will once again be out on Saturday mornings cleaning up litter along Inglis Street, Gorsebrook Avenue, Rogers Avenue, Tower Road, and Robie Street.
All litter is sorted and recycled according to HRM guidelines, allowing students to promote recycling while giving back to the community. In addition to residence students, this year we have different societies on campus come out and join us in the clean-up.
We will start cleaning up the neighbourhood again in September on Saturdays mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and every Saturday thereafter (pending weather) until the end of October. If you want to help out email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
